TOO BAD FOOD IN STORE FOR WORLD CUP TEAMS IN BRAZIL

JUST RELEASED (I checked it at Yahoo UK): Expired food was found by Brazilian authorities checking hotels where World Cup teams will stay. Other businesses based in or around Rio de Janeiro were also inspected.

Details are:
I) Establishment: HOTEL PORTOBELLO
Where: Mangaratiba (west of Rio)
Delegation to be hosted there: Italian
Irregularities: 25 kilos (55 pounds) of expired shrimp, salmon, margarine and pasta; 24 kilos of food had no date labeling.

II) ROYAL TULIP HOTEL
Rio de Janeiro
Delegation from England
Two kilos of out-of-date salmon, butter and ham.

III) Eight unnamed restaurants, bakeries and shops in Rio:
inspection resulted in 218 kilos of food thrown away.

NOTHING WRONG
Holland delegation seems to have chosen its base best - HOTEL CAESAR PARK, Rio, passed as faultless.
