MY SOUL is wholly devoted to sympathizing with the parents of the two young men the USA government, in a rush, spotted to make publicity of its competence - one that does not exist, furthermore using for such a purpose a situation that could not be more inappropriate.
I am totally shocked for I would not expect that much of sordidness from Obama and company.
THEIR INNOCENCE - where I base on to claim it
Even us here in Brazil had the other day an exhibition at the Museum of Image and Sound showing how video clips developed, how nowadays other movies or videos are created by, e.g., combining characters from a film with other sources strange to it originally, such as background images, so on and so forth... Yet people do not ponder that the 'images from cameras' the authorities and the media show as "evidence" can be - and in fact are in Boston's case - just editing of images, purposeful video creation.
Vinicius Torres Freire, normally an economy columnist for Folha de São Paulo, wrote an article, published on Saturday, about the events in Boston, profiting from the fact he lives close by. He revealed, according to what he saw on TV, that the two brothers confessed to the driver of that Mercedes (not identified...) that they were the authors of the attacks. Humm. Then the brothers leave the driver... in a gas station where he could find a phone and call the police immediately.
Any children's tale is more convincing to me. Further, early that very day, Obama had launched a self-promoting campaign, promising to capture the terrorists and, still more unbelievable, asking the population to help identify the guys in camera images - which... well, took them more than 3 whole days to make public. Of course, they had been making up those images. Meanwhile, the whole city was locked inside terrified, following the goverment instructions. Perfect. The only two stupids to go out and confess etc. to a guy they pick on the road out of nothing... were that two suspects whose alleged images had just been vastly broadcasted.
Right. If they were really stupid... However, every and all evidence is against that. They were in fact smart. And the one still living (is he?) is now declared a terrorist so that he has lost the rights to remain silent and to have a lawyer.
I now cannot say here or India or even Iran are worse than the USA.
Ah, Vinicius Torres also said one of them lived two km away from him, which also means he lived close to the area attacked on 15.04. Authorities, we can now easily realize, just looked in the computer for a "nice" surname... and soon found it. In addition - how lucky must authorities have found themselves to be - that surname belonged to single guys, family very far away...
I am deeply disturbed on the vision that we, who are old enough to put ourselves in the place of the brothers' parents, are incredibly passive and, on top, much sillier than the previous generations.
