KATE IN LABOR - what is official? What else is relevant?

The Kesington Palace - where Kate and Wiliam now live - confirmed at 7.30 am that Kate had gone to the hospital where she has been expected to have the baby. (She is said to had used a side entrance.)

The plans are for a natural birth (rather than a cesarean).

The Queen is not going to visit her newly-born grand grandson in hospital in order not to disrupt the routine of the location.

SKY news has just published that William is going to call the Queen (his mother) when the baby is born, contrarily to what has been informed by the press, which refers to the traditional delivery of a hand note by a messanger. These days that procedure would prevent the Queen from being the first, besides those following in hospital, to know about the news.

The day - 22 or, much less probable, 23 - will be very close to William's, who was born on a 21 but in June, not in July.

For the first time, SKY news also reveals, a royal baby is coming when there are three heirs ready to succeed a sovereign that is still fit for the position. This will lead Harry, William's brother, to slip from the third to the forth place in the line of succession. Kate's baby becomes the third, after Charles, the first, and William, the second.
